Webinar Background :

A historic Supreme Court ruling outlawed workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The court’s ruling immediately prohibited sexual orientation discrimination nationwide for employers with 15 or more employees. For most of us, work is stressful in and of itself.  Imagine carrying the added emotional weight of having to deny or suppress one of the most fundamental aspects of who you are:  your gender identity and sexual orientation because either one does not conform with society’s norms regarding gender expression. Participation in this webinar will provide attendees with an understanding of employers and employees rights and responsibilities under sexual orientation/gender ID legislation. Attendees will come away with the necessary tools to develop effective sexual orientation/gender ID policies and procedures and will have gained practical advice which will enable them to move toward building a more inclusive workplace.

In this presentation, we identify best strategies for identifying, preventing, and dealing with insubordination, thus limiting the organization’s liability.
